China is practicing an attack on Taiwan leaders following the example of Venezuela – media

The training took place in a secret place; the exact units and time of the training were not disclosed.

The media writes that a special unit of the Chinese army identified the “target” building using a military drone, and then conducted a night raid. The fighters allegedly used military crossbows, bypassed the guards and “liquidated” four conditional “terrorists.” The entire operation lasted less than two minutes.

This type of exercise is called “decapitation” – the rapid capture or neutralization of enemy leadership at the beginning of a conflict. Chinese experts believe that this is a demonstration of the capabilities of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, similar to how the United States carried out an operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

The maneuvers come amid rising tensions between the US and China over Taiwan and the South China Sea. At the end of 2025, Chinese troops were already conducting large-scale exercises near the island, including simulating attacks on key targets.

Analysts note that the training could be aimed at intimidating Taipei and demonstrating Beijing to foreign observers.
