The Russian Orthodox Church called Russian women “criminals” for wanting to have an abortion even after being raped
During a program on the Orthodox TV channel Spas, a psychologist said that Russian women who have survived rape “will definitely find help” if they decide to leave the child.
At the end of the program, the presenter stated that a woman who terminates a pregnancy “becomes no less a criminal than a person who committed violence.”
