Ștefan Târnovanu, the goalkeeper from FCSB, married Loredana Țurcanu on Sunday, in Iasi, the day after he played a half for the Romanian national team in the friendly with Wales, score 2-1.
The wedding of Ștefan and Loredana was scheduled for the weekend with FCSB's tie against Dinamo, score 2-1 after extra time. The goalkeeper postponed the event when he learned that the club team was to play the decisive match for the Conference League on 29 May.
And rescheduled for June 7. Târnovanu and Loredana Țurcanu got engaged in December 2023.

On Sunday, they had both the civil wedding, at the Iași City Hall, and the religious wedding. The FCSB goalkeeper shared several pictures from the special day on social media.
Târnovanu chose the city of Iasi to take the big step, where he was born. He is a product of Poli Iași's academy and arrived at FCSB in 2020, for 350,000 euros. Since then, he has won two titles and two Supercups with the red-blues.
Târnovanu played on Saturday evening in Bucharest, at the Steaua stadium, against Wales. He came on at halftime and played in the second half. After the match, he immediately left for Iași, so that he could be prepared for the wedding day on Sunday morning.
