As it turns out, Americans are very skeptical about the US president's idea. This is proven by the results of the latest CNN poll on this matter. As much as 75 percent respondents are against attempts by the United States to take control of Greenland. Only one in four US citizens supports the initiative.
Even among supporters of the Republican Party that catapulted Trump to the presidency, there is significant division on the issue. The idea of taking over Greenland is supported and rejected by 50 percent each. respondents from this group.
