Rapid supporters made a radical decision before the match with Metaloglobus: “Practical demonstration”

Peluza Nord Rapid, one of the main galleries of the people of Giulești, issued a new statement in which it announced that it will enter the stadium in the 15th minute of the match with Metaloglobus, game in stage #22 of the Superliga, as a form of protest against the club's management.

  • The game Rapid – Metaloglobus was scheduled for Saturday, January 17, from 20:00. The match at the Giulesti stadium will be broadcast in liveTEXT format on GSP.ro and on TV on Prima Sport 1 and Digi Sport 1.

2 days ago, Peluza Nord Rapid issued a statement in which they expressed their displeasure with an action by the club's management through which Giulești officials had an exchange of experience with the heads of Genoa and there was an association of symbols between the two clubs, both owned by businessman Dan Șucu.

Now Peluza Nord Rapid has pointed out that some people have conveyed that they did not understand the discontent of the supporters, so they will give “a practical demonstration”.

Peluza Nord Rapid announced the decision for the match with Metaloglobus: “We will make access to the stadium in the 15th minute”

Peluza Nord Rapid urged other supporters to join the action, announcing that it is the “first form of protest”.

Notice for those who “don't understand”

Because the fact that “fan dissatisfaction is not understood”, Peluza Nord Rapid considers it necessary to offer a practical demonstration. Maybe the theoretical explanations are not enough.

Thus, at Saturday's match with Metaloglobus, we will enter the stadium in the 15th minute.

This is the first form of protest against the latest decisions (or lack thereof) of the club management. It's nothing radical, nothing complicated. Just a short break, just long enough to observe what Rapid means without supporters.

We mention, to avoid any confusion: our support is unconditional.

We are not the employees of the club, we have no contracts, job descriptions or obligations assumed on paper. We do not receive salaries, bonuses or bonuses. All we offer is pure passion, time, money from our own pocket and a voice that doesn't shut up.

If we sometimes choose to protest, we do it because we care, not because someone is forcing us to or because we have a financial interest. Our only interest is Rapid Bucharest.

We invite all rapidist supporters who still believe in mutual respect to join us in this protest. Maybe that way, the management will understand that the supporters are not decoration, background noise or a contractual obligation.

From the 15th minute, we return to normal: we sing, support the team and do what we've always done: flags and scarves up, voice at full volume.

All forward, all back. All for one, one for all”, was the communique from Peluza Nord Rapid.

Cristian Săpunaru reacted: “There is no respect for the supporters”

Cristian Săpunaru, the former Rapid player, reacted immediately after learning the news and spoke about the subject in the studio.

“It's the fourth time it's happened. At Watford, Granada and Udinese have the same patron. Did they do this? They didn't. You're not allowed to put Rapid's logo on other colors. It's about respect for the fans. There's no respect for the fans. It's not the first time. If there was a man from Genoa wearing a Genoa shirt and a man from Rapdi wearing a Rapidu shirt, they shook hands and said goodbye.

That's not all. There are many, I'm not going to tell them all now. A lot has happened. I won't name names, but they wanted to change their mentality. A man who made supporters customers.

It's not just about the present. It's also history. There are people who broke their legs on the field and sneakers through the stands. We have to take this thing forward. With the same identity. We are not changing the identity of the Rapid. You have nothing to represent the Rapid. There are no people in the club who represent rapidism, which means Rapid. ”, said Cristian Săpunaru at Digi Sport.
