Cătălin Cîrjan, 4 million euro player? Panduru and Țicleanu agreed

Dinamo received a huge offer for the team's captain, Cătălin Cîrjan, offensive midfielder with 4 goals and 5 assists this season.

Metalist 1925 Kharkiv, the 7th place in Ukraine, offered 4 million euros. Two of the local analysts, Basarab Panduru and Aurel Țicleanu, were questioned if the Dynamo midfielder recommends such a transfer amount, or if it is exaggerated. Here is how they responded to PrimaSport.

• Basarab Panduru: “It seems big to me.”

• Aurel Ticleanu: “Me too. Pandi explained very well, considering the other offers you had and didn't fit into them…”.

• Panduru: “Let me tell you something else. Is he a national team player? He's not, at the moment. But let's say he is and he would have scored about 5 more goals in the last year. Well, how much should they have given him? 10 million? If now it's 4?

Later, analyzing Cîrjan's statistics at Dinamo, 12 goals and 7 assists in 65 gamesPanduru opined that the red-and-white midfielder is responsible for the chapter of the last pass:

“He looks like he's not a big goalscorer, he's an assist man. But nowadays, when the ball hits you, he goes to his teammate and assists, average just one assist in about 10 games, I think it's out of the way for a bit! Being a number 10, you say he gives goals”.
