Woman with two uteruses gives birth to twins
A Chinese woman from Shanxi province named Li managed to become pregnant with twins, despite a congenital pathology – the presence of two uteruses with two pairs of ovaries. In January, doctors confirmed that one fetus was developing in both uteruses.
The woman managed to carry both children until 37 weeks (8.5 months). In September, Lee gave birth to a healthy boy (3.3 kilograms) and a girl (2.4 kilograms). The birth took place by caesarean section.
