“How does he even walk?” The US minister said that Trump “pumps himself up all day long” while traveling

“He eats really junk food – it's McDonalds, and also candy. And Diet Coke, he drinks it all the time. He has the body of a god. I don't know how he's even alive, but he's alive,” said a White House ally.

Trump eats this way on work trips, Kennedy said. Fearing poisoning, the president prefers products “from large corporations because he trusts them.” But at his private residence Mar-a-Lago in Miami, where he flies almost every weekend and also holds talks, Trump switches to healthy food, Kennedy says.

“When you drive around with him, it's like he's been pumping himself full of poison all day long, and you don't understand how he walks at all, let alone the fact that he's the most energetic person any of us have ever met. But I think he actually eats pretty well, generally,” the minister said, adding that Trump is in “incredible health” and has very high testosterone levels for a man over 70.

Context

Trump, 79, has repeatedly described his health as “perfect.” He claims to work full time, admits to taking 325 mg of aspirin a day as a preventive measure, and aside from golf, does not exercise regularly.

On January 1, The Wall Street Journal wrote, citing those around him, that the head of the White House was showing signs of aging in public and in private life. Trump gave an interview to the publication about his health, immediately declaring that it was “perfect.” In particular, he often sits with his eyes closed and, possibly, sleeps at public events, his hearing has become worse, his legs are very swollen and bruises appear all the time, which the media have repeatedly drawn attention to.
