The Hungarian pivot Emőke Varga (25 years old) is the new player of Corona Brașov. The transfer was announced by the Transylvanian group through an official statement.

Emőke Varga, the new player of Corona, signed a contract valid for two seasons with Brașov.

“Transfer to the handball team: Emőke Varga is coming to Corona Brașov! She will spend the next two seasons with the team, starting from the summer of 2026.

Trained in Hungarian handball at the highest level, Emőke Varga comes to Corona Brașov from Váci NKSE, where she will perform as a pivot. She started handball at the age of 11, at VKL SE Győr, being quickly transferred to the Győri AUDI ETO KC academy, where she was integrated into the training of the first team in 2015.

After her time in Győri, she played for Alba Fehérvár KC, and from 2024 she was a player for the Váci NKSE club, where she stood out as one of the best defenders in the Hungarian championship, with constant contributions in attack as well.

Corona Brașov is getting stronger for the new season
