Regional operator ROSTtech spoke about replenishing its fleet. New garbage trucks will operate in the Oktyabrsky and Sovetsky districts of Krasnoyarsk.
Nine new rear-loading garbage trucks are already preparing to hit the road. They differ from previous generation machines in their performance: one such garbage truck can accommodate the contents of 100 containers per trip. The new machines are agile and maneuverable – the best option for working in densely built-up yards, experts say.
“We are intensifying our work in the two largest districts of the city – Sovetsky and Oktyabrsky. The new equipment will not replace, but will complement and strengthen our work,” explained Evgeniy Shepelev, General Director of ROSTtech LLC.
Rear-loading garbage trucks provide efficient work with both containers and bulky waste. The cars are domestic, based on MAZ, so there will be no difficulties in finding parts and components, the company is confident. Minister of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vladimir Chasovitin assessed the arriving cars and talked with the drivers and company management.
“I like it when people keep their word. The leaders of ROSTtech promised that we will start the New Year with the purchase of new vehicles. And this is what happened today. They kept their word, so for this I am grateful to the management of ROSTtech as a whole, and for the way we spent the New Year holidays, and for the fact that today we are looking at new equipment,” commented Vladimir Chasovitin.
The current supply of vehicles is not a one-time thing, the company notes, work to update the fleet is carried out regularly. In the coming weeks, 11 more units of equipment will arrive in Krasnoyarsk.
