In Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained a 42-year-old local resident who organized the illegal production of alcohol without excise taxes and its sale.

It was established that the man had been engaged in criminal activities since the summer of 2025 without the appropriate license.

“During searches in two warehouses belonging to Achinets, more than 9,100 liters of alcohol-containing products were seized from illegal circulation. By his actions, the man caused material damage amounting to over 1 million rubles. The investigators also discovered 1,500 packs of non-excise tobacco products,” the police said.

A criminal case was opened against the man under paragraph “b” of Part 6 of Art. 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products without labeling and (or) application of information provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, on an especially large scale”, the sanction of which provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 6 years with a fine of up to 1 million rubles. Currently, the defendant has been chosen as a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
