The mayor of Krasnoyarsk praised the work of city services over the holiday weekend

The mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin discussed with the managers the results of the work of services during the January holidays. He spoke about this on his Telegram channel.

The first thing that was discussed at the meeting was the removal of solid municipal waste. The registrar increased the frequency and quantity of equipment. There were fewer complaints, but there were some glitches. Over the weekend, Krasnoyarsk residents left 96 calls to service 005; the operator took all requests into action. In most cases, late garbage collection was due to parking. Specialists connected districts and management companies to clear passage for special equipment.

There were also requests from city residents to clean roads and sidewalks. This work has been intensified. About 200 pieces of equipment and 250 workers took to the streets every day.

“I personally saw the work of the teams. I will definitely dive into the process of organizing cleaning. We need to assess the situation and implement changes,” Sergei Vereshchagin commented on the situation.

During the holidays, special attention was paid to working with homeless animals. Based on requests from citizens, since the beginning of the year, teams have caught 32 stray dogs, 14 of them in Solontsy and 1 in Berezovka.

There were no major network failures over the weekend. Local outages were promptly eliminated. The head of the city noted that due to the well-coordinated interaction of the responsible services, the holidays passed calmly, as usual, and thanked the specialists for their work.
