Krasnoyarsk Ministry of Health summed up the results of the New Year holidays / Incidents of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.Ru


During the long New Year holidays, 38 people came to medical institutions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with frostbite: 19 received outpatient care, 18 were hospitalized, and one died in hospital. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health and summed up the overall results of the work of Krasnoyarsk hospitals.

So, 3071 patients visited the Emergency Departmentof which 1,122 were sent for inpatient treatment, the rest were provided with outpatient care. A significant number of cases, namely 539, were associated with various injuries, mainly of a domestic nature, road accidents and injuries received during outdoor activities. The emergency room provided emergency care to 335 victims. Surgeons hospitals performed 344 operations, all performed on an emergency basis for vital indications.
During the holidays, 1,258 Krasnoyarsk residents turned to the inpatient emergency department of the Regional Clinical Hospitalof which 374 were hospitalized; 273 people were admitted to the emergency room, 20 children were admitted with burns.
Hospital No. 20 admitted a total of 3,134 peopleof which 1,268 were delivered by ambulance. The largest number of applicants was recorded in the children's somatic department – 720, cardiology department – 718, ENT department – 680 and pediatric surgery – 665. During the New Year holidays, 47 children were born in the institution, 249 operations were performed on 182 adults and 67 children.
In the emergency rooms of the Regional Ophthalmological Hospital from January 1 to January 11, 1055 patients were treated, among whom there were 215 children.
Also for all holidays at the emergency room of the clinic in Pokrovsky 42 people applied, including 11 children, On average, 20 adults and 15 children were admitted to emergency room No. 2 per day, 22 adults were admitted to emergency room No. 3, and 25 adults and 20 children were admitted to emergency room No. 5.
