Recruitment of people willing to undergo military training is ongoing. The army promises benefits


There are several training dates, the first one starts on January 12, and the next ones start in February and March 2026. DZSW is a form of training for people who have not been in the army before and want to gain this type of experience. According to the recruitment center, basic training as part of voluntary compulsory military service lasts 27 days and ends with a military oath. It takes place in units throughout the country. Later, during the 11-month specialist training, the commander has the right to call up the soldier for professional military service.

Military training. Benefits and additional rights
During the training, participants receive remuneration at the level of a professional soldier – up to PLN 6,300. zloty. For those who are under 26 years of age, it is tax-free. In addition they can count on free food and accommodation, insurance and free medical care, and discounts on railway tickets. As the recruitment center points out, “voluntary compulsory military service is a voluntary form, so it can be interrupted or resigned.”
Interestingly – During the training, you can obtain additional professional qualifications free of charge, e.g. category C, C+E, D driving license, equipment and machine operator's license, license to operate engineering equipment, welder, diver or parachute jumper.

Who can take part in DZSW training? Anyone who is at least 18 years old, has Polish citizenship and has at least primary education can apply. The requirements also include: good reputation, physical and mental capacity, and no criminal record for an intentional crime. The application for Voluntary Military Service is submitted to the Head of the WCR after registering on the WP recruitment portal www.zostanzolnierzem.pl.
