If you hosted a New Year or Christmas celebration at home this year, then most likely the main tasks of cleaning the apartment fall on your shoulders. And how terrible it is on the morning of January 1 to realize that the table has not yet been cleared, the dishes have not been washed, and the children’s toys have not been tidied up. We'll tell you what to do after a home party so that cleaning goes without stress and running around.
So, the most important rule is to start cleaning by putting away trash. From everywhere – from the rooms, from the table, and from the kitchen. Napkins, disposable tableware, bottles, leftover food – let it all go in the trash. This technique will create a feeling of impending cleanliness and improve the mood for cleaning, add energy and vigor.
In general, the post-holiday cleaning algorithm looks like this:
- Put all the garbage in one bag or distribute it into different ones if you are sorting.
- Collect food from salad bowls that has not spoiled into containers and store in the refrigerator.
- Place dishes in the dishwasher or wash by hand.
- Wash the floor around the table.
- Start cleaning other rooms.
In advance, in the evening, prepare all your cleaning equipment. You will need:
- sponge scraper;
- grease solvent spray;
- universal microfiber cloths.
These things will help get rid of grease stains, wash the stove, and scrape off splashes from the walls and floor. Following this algorithm, you will quickly and easily put your apartment in order even after the most crowded celebration.
