The first episode of the new Survivor season brought Gabriel Tamaș (42 years old) and Adrian Petre (27), former footballers in Romania's first league, face to face.
Gabriel Tamaș is part of the “Famous” team, while Adrian Petre is part of the “Warriors” team. The teams of the two have faced each other since the first episode.

The test in the sky the two competed in consisted of completing a circuit, and at the end they had to knock down two targets, then insert 3 handballs into the baskets.
Petre did better, finishing the test ahead of the former central defender, to the cheers of his teammates.
Gabi Tamaș and Adrian Petre crossed paths in 2025 and at Concordia Chiajna. Petre was the striker of Ilfoven, while the former stopper was the sports director. Both played in their careers for FCSB, the current champion of Romania.
Former handball player Patricia Vizitiu also competed in the Famous Team. He won his race. The trial reward consisted of several tools and materials for building the shelter.

Adrian Vasile is the presenter of the show Survivor
Adrian Petre and Gabi Tamaș are not the only ones from Survivor who are connected to professional sports.
Adrian Vasile, the former selector of the Romanian women's handball team and coach at CSM Bucharest, has agreed to start the role of presenter for this season of Survivor.
