Uzbek vaginal gold: women were detained in Turkey for trying to smuggle 9 kilograms of gold inside them
At Izmir airport, police detained six citizens of Uzbekistan who flew into the country from the UAE. The security forces were informed in advance that the women would try to smuggle contraband.
During a search of the car and passengers meeting them, 82 gold bars of 110 grams each were seized. After additional examination, it turned out that another 84 gold bars were sewn into the women’s genitals.
By decision of the court, surgical intervention was performed. Gold weighing a total of 9 kilograms and 240 grams was recovered from the genitals of the passengers.
The female couriers and the man who met them were arrested.
