Based on the results of another inspection in Krasnoyarsk, police brought to justice seven foreign citizens who violated migration rules.

As the press service of the regional police reported, law enforcement officers checked the legality of the stay and work activities of 47 foreign citizens in the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk.

“Based on the results of the activities carried out, 7 violators of migration requirements were identified and were taken to the police department for further investigation. A total of 11 administrative offenses were identified, including: violation of the deadline for submitting a notice of confirmation of residence in Russia, provision of residential premises to a foreign citizen illegally staying on the territory of the Russian Federation, carrying out labor activities by a foreign citizen without a patent, involving an employer in labor activities of a foreign citizen without a patent and violating the deadline for applying for a patent,” the police clarified.

Three migrants who illegally worked as cooks and taxi drivers were also detained. They were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Art. 18.17 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. An investigation is being carried out against the employer who allowed them to work in violation of the law.

In addition, in relation to a citizen of Kyrgyzstan who evaded leaving after the expiration of his stay, a decision was made to forcibly expel him from Russia.
