An Australian killed a Russian tourist in Phuket – he ran over him on a jet ski while he was swimming in the sea.
25-year-old David Robert was racing off the coast of the island. Immediately after the collision, he fled the scene, packed his things at the hotel and left. Later, local fishermen found the body of 58-year-old St. Petersburg resident Kirill G. in the sea.
It was possible to find the suspect and track his movements with the help of eyewitnesses and surveillance cameras. He didn’t have time to leave the country – he was found on Phi Phi Island and sent back to Phuket. The guy is accused of negligence leading to death; he denied his guilt during interrogation.
