“The Government of the Republic of Croatia has agreed to supply DTEK with critical energy equipment for decommissioned power plants to help repair energy facilities damaged by more than 220 Russian attacks,” the statement said.
Croatia is one of the few countries that can provide equipment compatible with the Ukrainian energy system, the company noted.
“DTEK expresses its deep gratitude to the Republic of Croatia for supplying vital energy equipment to Ukraine at such a critical time this winter. At a time when Russia is intensifying attacks on civilian infrastructure and temperatures are dropping to -20°C, Croatia’s support directly contributes to DTEK’s efforts to restore power supply to millions of people,” said DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko.
