13 dead dolphins washed up on the shores of the Krasnodar region overnight. Traces of fuel oil were found in the respiratory tract of one Azov woman.
The first eight ended up in Aleksin near Novorossiysk. Six are on the shore, two are in the water. Three more old corpses were on the Bugaz Spit, in the village of Sukko and in Varvarovka. According to experts, such a release of sea creatures can be considered massive.
Volunteers examined only five dolphins; the rest were carried away by the storm. Two females, two males and one baby dolphin. All but one have no traces of petroleum products. It is assumed that the cause of death was intoxication from fuel vapors or poisoned fish. Experts will give an opinion.
