InPost announced on Tuesday that it had received an initial proposal to take over all the company's shares. However, the company did not disclose who was interested in the shares.

Who wants to buy InPost?
Sky News reports that we are talking about the Advent International fund, which invested in InPost in 2017 and then sold part of its shares to the Czech investment company PPF.
According to British media Advent International can count on cooperation with other large shareholders of the company. Banking sources speculate that PPF may also participate in a possible takeover offer.
In reaction to these reports, the price of InPost shares increased by approximately 20 percent, reaching a market capitalization of EUR 5.8 billion. Despite this increase, the value of the company's shares fell by nearly one fifth last year.

InPost – shareholding structure
The main shares in InPost are held by:
- PPF Group (28.75%), Rafał Brzoska's investment vehicle A&R Investments (12.49%),
- Advent International Corporation (10.98%)
- GIC Private Limited (5.05%).
Below the 5 percent threshold. there are, among others, share packages belonging to Polish investment funds.
