In Krasnoyarsk on Wednesday, January 7, a family “Sleigh Parade” took place on the Central Embankment. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
The event took place as part of the “Magic Ice of Siberia” festival from the Vector youth center. The theme of the parade was a New Year's fairy tale. Parents and their children had to use their imagination to turn ordinary children's sleds, snow scooters or ice skates into fabulous vehicles. You could choose one of three nominations: “Santa Claus's Sleigh”; “Golden Horseshoe” (sleigh in the form of a symbol of 2026); “Fairy Tale Hero” (sleigh with any fairy tale character).
“22 families presented the most unusual transport: from Santa Claus’s sleigh to ice-coaches. They walked brightly and colorfully for 500 meters,” the mayor’s office noted.
All participants received memorable gifts, and the winners in each category received prizes from the organizers and partners.
It should be noted that the sleigh parade took place as part of the “Magic Ice of Siberia” festival for the second time. Participation in the event was free with pre-registration.
