In Krasnoyarsk, traffic and parking patterns in the area of city churches will temporarily change.
The mayor's office said that for the safe conduct of religious services, from 22:00 on January 6 to 16:00 on January 7, traffic will be completely blocked on some streets:
- alternate passage from house No. 7/2 to house No. 7/1 on Svetlova Street;
- Mendeleev Street from Shchorsa Street to building No. 35g on Academician Pavlova Street;
- Dobrolyubova Street from Kochubeya Lane to the intersection with the passage at house number 17 on Gastello Street.
In order to avoid creating traffic jams and ensure the passage of emergency vehicles, from 18:00 on January 6 to 17:00 on January 7, stopping and parking will be prohibited in the following areas:
- on the even side of Surikov Street from Mira Avenue to Lenin Street;
- Lesnaya street from the intersection with Blagodatnaya street to house No. 43a;
- Poslushnikov Lane from Voznesenskaya Street to house No. 55a/3;
- Mendeleev Street from Shchorsa Street to house No. 35g;
- Dobrolyubova street from Shchorsa street to house number 27a.
During the Christmas holidays, traffic police crews will be focused on providing assistance to road users and identifying traffic violations. Inspectors will pay special attention to ensuring safety in places of holiday services, as well as identifying and suppressing cases of driving while intoxicated.
