Valentin Tănase, the fastest man in Romania, also participates in “Desafio. Aventura”. He reached a speed of 45 km/h, although the record was not approved due to the wind.
“The experience was super cool! I learned a lot from there. I hope what I did helps people back home as well. It was very difficult for me because I wanted to be cautious. Slowly but surely, not necessarily fast. When I left home I had one thought: to have fun. Along the way I forgot that. It was very difficult to work with people! But they joked, they laughed and we made panarama”, he says for GSP.RO.
Vasile Lucian, nicknamed Leopardu', who, when he was a child, was registered in AC Milan's junior groups, is not missing from the show that premieres tonight.
“An extraordinary show, hard, with laughter, crying and emotion. Football was my passion as a small child, I also played for AC Milan. I gave it up when I left Milan, for Firenze. Football is an extremely difficult sport and I couldn't keep up. I also quit because of some teammates. In this competition, I think Rafa Leao would do well, he is very fast and strong“, declared Lucian.
Nenicu Florin Prunea was sensational! I really liked him. We weren't on the same team but we got along and laughed every time we saw each other at games

In addition to the athletes, the man who pays attention to all the details when it comes to food, Nicolae Lupșor, “champion and international nutritionist. I won medals in all the countries of the world and proclaimed myself the King of Fitness”, as he describes himself, also participated in the competition.
“It was impressive! There were games that tested my limits, but I gave 101%. My body is my calling card. There were times when we didn't eat for two days, we had to fight with our brains, to be strong. I left with 99 kilos and came back with 94, but it was an experience I would repeat. On the strength side I was the most grounded in my team. I got along best with Florin Prunea, fighter character. I had a mental connection with him”, commented Nicolae in a statement for GSP.RO.
What is Desafio, the new show from the Pro TV grid
Desafio, a Spanish term that translates into Romanian as “challenge”, is described by PRO TV as right “a reality game show that combines sports competition, team strategies and social dynamics between contestants”.

The three teams will fight weekly for three territories: the luxury villa, “destined for those who win the rounds and can enjoy comfort”, the village of the locals, “where the competitors live in moderate conditions and have to integrate into the community”, respectively the wasteland, “the rough place where those who lose end up, facing shortages and difficulties”.
Depending on each week's results, the contestants will rotate between the three territories.
