Volodymyr Zelensky reaches for help from overseas. “We need to increase stability”

“Ukraine now needs to increase its internal stability – to rebuild the country if diplomacy works as quickly as possible, and to strengthen its defense if, due to partners' delays, we have to work longer to end the war,” Zelensky noted.
The president thanked everyone who is ready to help the Ukrainian state and cooperate with partners.
Chrystia Freeland has close ties to Ukraine
Freeland, 57, has Ukrainian roots and speaks Ukrainian. Before starting her political career, she was a journalist and, among others, she worked in Ukraine in the 1990s for the Financial Times.
During Freeland's political career, she was, among others, head of the ministries of finance and foreign affairs, as well as deputy prime minister of Canada. Since September 16, 2025, he has been the special representative of the Government of Canada for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
