Bucharest City Hall (PMB) announced that the festive lighting will remain on until January 12, on the main arteries of the Capital.

“Our capital literally shone this winter! More than 7 million light bulbs, organized in more than 9,800 festive lighting equipment, transformed the city into a fairyland. Even though the holidays have passed, we decided to prolong the joy of evening walks a little”, the institution sent on Facebook.
Thus, PMB announces that the festive lighting will remain on until January 12, on the following main roads:
• Bd. Aviatorilor and Bd. Kiseleff
• Calea Victoriei and Bd. Regina Elisabeta
• Bd. Magheru and Piața Romană
• Bd. Unirii and Bd. Ion IC Brătianu
• Bd. Regele Mihai I and Bd. Lascăr Catargiu.

According to B365, this year PMB spent three times more on Christmas lights than in 2024, almost 8 million lei. They were installed on November 29.
In addition to the 5,368 light decorations that it rented, CM Iluminat Public SRL also installed 4,470 light elements that it already had in stock.
