There is little chance that the Ivorian Kevin Doukoure will continue at FC Arges. Exponent in the Ligue 2 campaign, the central midfielder suffered a serious injury before the start of the championship, the 26-year-old African thus losing his status in the team.
He played at Farul, U Cluj and quickly became a regular at FC Argeș, in the season that culminated with the white-violets returning to the first stage. The Ivory Coast footballer made 30 appearances last season, most of them as a starter, also contributing to promotion in the summer.
It all went downhill in the play-off final when Doukoure suffered a serious knee injurywhich took him out of the circuit for months. The midfielder hasn't played since May, missed summer training and was unavailable until mid-fall.
Thus, Hagi's former midfielder gradually disappeared from the foreground, as FC Argeș seriously consolidated its squad after promotion.
On 29 October, Doukoure was an unused substitute in the Cup match against Metaloglobus. However, he did not get the sheet for the championship games, his only presence being marked in a friendly match against Muscelul Câmpulung on November 14 (6-0), in which he also scored a “double”.

Kevin Doukoure will no longer play for FC Argeș
Now, FC Argeș did not include Doukoure in the squad that traveled to Turkey for the training camp in Antalya.
His medical report is still unpredictable. Doukoure's troubles persisted after the injury, with pains continuing to bother him now and then.
From GSP.ro information, the Ivorian who is in the last six months of his contract will no longer continue in Trivale. If he does not find a team now, he will remain at the club until June, even if he will not be considered for the rest of the season.
And Tchassem stayed at home
Even the Cameroonian Franck Tchassem did not travel to Antalya with the rest of the team. Transferred from U Cluj in January 2025, the striker did not cope with the rigors of the first league, where he ticked only 64 minutes in five matches.
