The world's largest car companies faced a visible reduction in profits in 2025, for reasons related to the market context, rising costs and including the transition to electric propulsion. The profitability leader remained Toyota, but the largest net earnings in the automotive industry were obtained by a European company, Profit.ro analysis reveals.
