“Coming soon.” Controversial entry by the wife of Trump's adviser. The Danish ambassador responds

After American forces overthrew and abducted Nicolas Maduro, there was uncertainty about further US plans towards countries located in the Western Hemisphere. Donald Trump has suggested many times that Canada should be the 51st state of the USA and, above all, that he will want to reach the territory of Greenland.
In this context, after the attack on Venezuela, Katie Miller, the wife of Donald Trump's close adviser on migration, Stephen Miller, posted a graphic on X that shows Greenland as a US territory. Miller captioned the graphic: “coming soon.”

Danish ambassador responds to Trump adviser's wife. “I kindly remind you”
The Danish ambassador to the US, Jesper Moller Sorensen, commented on Katie Miller's post.
“A kind reminder about the U.S.-Kingdom of Denmark relationship: We are close allies and should continue to cooperate in this regard. U.S. security also means the security of Greenland and Denmark. Greenland is already a member of NATO. The Kingdom of Denmark and the United States work together to ensure security in the Arctic,” he wrote.
“The Kingdom of Denmark has significantly intensified its actions for security in the Arctic – in 2025 alone, we have allocated $13.7 billion that can be used in the Arctic and the North Atlantic. Because we take our common security seriously,” added the Danish ambassador.
“We expect full respect for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark,” he concluded.
