Will Venezuelans breathe a sigh of relief after the US attack? Twice as rich as Poles 35 years ago, now they are living in poverty



The US attacked Venezuela and, as it turned out, the goal was to capture President Maduro. He was taken out of the country. Previously, he was accused of rigging elections and building a drug state. Under the rule of Maduro and his predecessor Hugo Chavez, Venezuela fell from what was once the richest country in South America to extreme poverty. Millions of inhabitants fled abroad.
