Mihai Stoica (60 years old), the president of the Board of Directors at FCSB, announced his wishes for 2026, through a message posted on his personal Facebook page.
Among the wishes aimed at FCSB are the winning of the Romanian Supercup, the increase of the UEFA coefficient, but also receipts from FIFA for the participation of the players in the World Championship in 2026.

In a message posted on his Facebook account, Mihai Stoica presented his followers with his wishes for the year 2026. As for the FCSB, he has 3 wishes:

receipts from FIFA for participation of players in the 2026 World Cup
Regarding the Romanian Supercup, FCSB has a difficult mission. The season started poorly for the champion of the last two editions of the Super League, but the last games of 2025 give hope that things will turn around in 2026. At the moment, FCSB are 2 points away from the play-offs, so the title of champion is currently far away.
Another way to get to play the Super Cup would be to win the Romanian Cup. This goal seems difficult to achieve, given that FCSB have a win and a loss in the group stage of the competition, so they need to beat Universitatea Craiova away to qualify for the knockout stages.
From a coefficient point of view, FCSB hopes to achieve another European route like the one in the 2024/25 season, when it reached the round of 16 in the Europa League, helping to increase the country's coefficient. This season, the Romanian champions hope to qualify for the European spring, given that they still have two games to play, with Dinamo Zagreb and Fenerbahce.
In terms of revenue from players qualified for the 2026 World Cup, FCSB has a lot to gain. The Romanian champion will be represented at the tournament in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico by Siyabonga Ngezana. South Africa, his national team, is qualified for the final tournament this summer. FIFA will reward every team that sends players to the World Cup.
