In a series of podcasts carried out as part of the Scamming out! campaign. we talk to outstanding specialists about cyber fraud, ransomware theft, criminals' methods and ways to counteract attacks.

We invite you to listen to the first conversation with Małgorzata Górska, head of HR at Velobank, who has an excellent overview of the problem of cyber fraud, looking at the procedure through the eyes of a banker who deals with clients manipulated by criminals – in the podcast we used a fragment of an authentic call center conversation between a Velobank advisor and a client who insisted on a quick transfer to a fraudulent account.

Małgosia is also a practicing psychologist and psychotraumatologist. He perfectly recognizes and knows the manipulation mechanisms used by criminals. He also understands the tragedy of scam victims, robbed of money, but also of their sense of dignity and feelings, deprived of self-esteem, often full of shame and guilt.

In “Puls Biznesu” I deal with the financial market, especially the banking sector, but I also write about the debt collection and leasing industry. I must admit that banks are closest to me. I look at the achievements of the receivables management industry with respect, but I only know this business from an observer's perspective. I have never, knock on wood, been a client of a debt collection company. It's easier for me to evaluate banks because I have an open account with all of them. I know what the website, call center and branch service look like and how they work.
