The deputy mayor of Campulung Muscel died. Elena Lasconi's message: “Our dear friend has gone to the angels”

The vice-mayor of Câmpulung Muscel, Alin Vlădău, has been hospitalized for a long time, after suffering a stroke. The announcement of his death was made by the mayor Elena Lasconi, on his Facebook account. He was 50 years old.
Alin Vlădău was deputy mayor in Câmpulung Muscel from February 2024, following his election by the Local Council. Vlădău won a new mandate as a local councilor following the June 2024 local elections and thus continued his term as deputy mayor.
“Alin, our dear friend has gone to the angels. It's so hard for me to write these lines… I miss you Aline! I miss your agitation, the way you wanted to solve everything, your jokes, the coffee with you… I can't imagine what is in the soul of the family. We are with you”, Elena Lasconi wrote, on Wednesday, on Facebook.
“In all this end of the year hustle and bustle many are unhappy or sad. Let's not forget today and every day how precious life is. What is the legacy we want to leave behind? Alin left behind a lot of love and that's the most important thing. Let this year pass as quickly as possible! Be kinder to each other in the coming year and love each other! We will always love you Aline! God bless you protect”, she also wrote.
“The countryside loses a good man and a dedicated professional today”
A message of condolences was also published by USR Câmpulung Muscel.
“Alin was a man dedicated to the community, who sincerely loved Campulung and its people. He served the city with responsibility, honesty and respect, constantly getting involved for the common good. Our thoughts go out to his family and those close to him. Campulung loses today a good man and a devoted professional. May God rest him in peace,” wrote the USR.
According to the city hall's website, the vice-mayor Alin Vlădău was responsible for managing, among others, the schools in the municipality, the library and the city's markets. He was also Elena Lasconi's legal substitute when she was on leave or unable to exercise her duties as mayor.
