The analysis for the fourth quarter closes the year just passed. Thanks to the proprietary DepoTracker indicator, we can track how the average rate of the five best term deposits with given parameters has changed over the last 24 months. We always accept the following deposits:

  • 3-month deposits for PLN 10,000 PLN – analysis for offers with additional conditions and proposals without such restrictions,
  • 3-month and 12-month deposits per PLN 100,000 zloty.

It is not without reason that we focus on deposits in these variants. Quarterly deposits have been at the forefront of popularity among savers for years. This thesis is confirmed by the data published monthly by the National Bank of Poland. They are also discussed on Bankier.pl.

Offers for 10 thousand these are propositions for those who are looking for opportunities. For such people, we check how the arithmetic mean of the highest interest-bearing offers from the so-called hooks and offers available only “for the price” of paying the accumulated capital. Those with larger savings who care about safe storage of funds and additional profit may be interested in offers for PLN 100,000. zloty. In this case, we are looking at proposals for 3 months and 12 months.

The source of information are periodically published deposit rankings by Bankier.pl as well as the comparison website at banker.pl/smart.

A quarter of interest rate cuts

You don't have to look far to find the answer to the reason for these reductions. The slogan that can easily describe the last quarter of 2025 is “interest rate cuts.” At each meeting of the Monetary Policy Council, which took place from October to December this year, such a decision was made. The reductions in central bank rates were followed by commercial banks, which immediately cut the interest rates offered to depositors. For example, in September the highest rate on a term deposit was 7.50%. on an annual basis. 3 months later it was 7.10 percent. annually.
