A hockey player killed his mother because she forbade him to drink alcohol in the Moscow region
21-year-old Stepan, who previously played for the youth team of Atlant Mytishchi, after failures in his career, began to abuse alcohol, which caused conflicts with his 47-year-old mother.
The last drinking session was fatal. When the woman came home, her son was already drunk. After the remark, a scandal broke out, during which Stepan first beat his mother with his hands, and then brutally stabbed her with a knife.
The woman was urgently hospitalized, but could not be saved. The killer son was detained and faces up to 15 years in prison.
