A creative competition, a Spartakiad in seven sports and an intellectual tournament – the team of the Boguchanskaya HPP celebrated the 10th anniversary of the station reaching its design capacity with bright and large-scale events. Children and teenagers, sports fans and even guests of the Kezhemsky district became participants in memorable events. Competitions and competitions were supported by local authorities, sports and educational institutions, and numerous creative groups.
The Spartakiad for the prizes of the Boguchanskaya HPP was held in the halls of the Zhemchuzhina physical culture and sports complex and included tournaments in volleyball, basketball, mini-football, table tennis, chess, swimming and all-around at the GTO complex. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Spartakiad became celebrations of sports and beauty thanks to the performances of the dance theaters “Edelweiss” and “Triumph”, the vocal studio “Shine” and the aesthetic gymnastics group “Angelina”.
Teams from the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station, the municipal administration, educational institutions, the Kezhemsky district hospital, the Priangarsky polytechnic school and other organizations competed for the prizes of the competition. Each winning place brought the teams points, the sum of which resulted in the winner of the tournament being the team from the Boguchanskaya HPP. The “Municipals” team earned second place, and the “Education” team received bronze medals.
Children and teenagers from 7 to 17 years old took part in a creative competition under the motto “Energy is Timeless.” About eighty schoolchildren presented drawings and photographs reflecting the beauty of Siberian nature, telling about the construction of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station and its contribution to the life of the region. In the age group of 7-12 years, the winner was Miroslava Shchegoleva, 2nd place was taken by Daria Viktorova, and 3rd place by Ksenia Pashko. In the older age group, the work of Jasmine Atia was recognized as the best, Arthur Badyan received a 2nd degree diploma, and Vitalina Karpova received a 3rd degree diploma.
The “Photo from the Family Archive” nomination, dedicated to the anniversary of the hydroelectric power station, was the result of the work and creativity of different generations – from children to veterans. Schoolchildren presented photographs and stories about the participation of their relatives in the construction and establishment of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, sometimes covering several decades of family history. Awards in this category went to Daniil Shakhmatov, Vladimir Semenov and Tamara Petrushina, who sent not only unique footage, but also interesting descriptions of past events.
During the anniversary celebrations, the intellectual tournament “Light of Knowledge – 2025” was held. It brought together teams created by employees of the hydroelectric power station, teachers of the Center for Additional Education, students of the specialized RusHydro-class and journalists from Krasnoyarsk, who visited the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station during the anniversary. To answer the questions of three thematic rounds, the teams needed knowledge, imagination and the ability to find a common opinion. The winner of the tournament was the RusHydro-class team, the journalists took home a diploma for second place, and the third place was earned by the team of the Boguchanskaya HPP Equipment Monitoring Service.
