Passengers on the Nordwind flight Krasnoyarsk–St. Petersburg spent 15 hours without food due to bad weather. This is the third time the plane is trying to get to St. Petersburg.
At approximately 7:00 Moscow time, the plane took off for St. Petersburg, but due to the weather it went to the alternate Sheremetyevo airport. There, passengers sat on board for more than two hours, waiting for refueling and departure.
At about 16:00 the commander reported that the weather had improved, but on the way to Pulkovo it deteriorated again. I had to return to Sheremetyevo. People spent the whole day without food (it is not provided for such a flight) or drink – there was no water on board. Getting off the plane was also organized haphazardly: it took a long time to disembark passengers, and the buses could not arrive at the same time as the ramp. Now the airliner is trying to fly to St. Petersburg again – the weather there has already improved.
