Changes in the “My Electricity” program are of key importance for the development of prosumer energy in Poland. “The program was an impulse for the development of prosumer energy, and only thanks to it we have over 600,000 prosumers in Poland. The question is: is further public intervention needed? The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management is initiating certain changes and entering areas that are at the initial stage of development. If a certain market segment is already advanced and developed, then public intervention is not justified,” emphasized the president of the fund.

The sixth edition of the “Moj Prąd” program started on September 2, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications was extended several times and the budget was increased. The call for applications was to be conducted until October 31, 2025 or until funds are exhausted. Initially, PLN 400 million was allocated for this edition of the program, later the budget was increased to PLN 1.25 billion.
At the beginning of March 2025, another PLN 600 million was added and ultimately the program budget amounted to PLN 1.85 billion from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment program.
