“The main thing is security guarantees.” Tusk commented on negotiations with Zelensky

Ahead of a meeting with US President Donald Trump Zelensky spoke with the leaders of a number of European countries, as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during visit to Canada December 27. According to the head of the Ukrainian state, they discussed 20 points of the “basic document on the end of the war,” including the attitude to the territorial issue, management of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and means.

Tusk commented that security guarantees for Ukraine must be “specific and reliable.”

“Such guarantees also make Poland safer. Tomorrow after the meeting of the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, we will continue the discussion,” Tusk added.

Prime Minister of Finland Alexander Stubb also took part in the discussion. He called the conversation “good.”

“We are working together on a fair and lasting peace agreement,” he wrote on the social network X.
