Two electoral blocs that will have a clear political agenda – such a strategy for the 2027 elections is proposed by Małgorzata Tracz (KO). In her opinion, democratic parties should be divided into a progressive-left and center-right bloc. As she emphasized, clear program demands will be important.

The conversation in the PAP Studio concerned, among others: parliamentary elections in 2027. Małgorzata Tracz (KO) was asked what strategy the current ruling coalition should adopt – whether the parties should run separately or create one electoral bloc.

– I have the impression that this is probably not the time for one big block. We have political parties that have such a center-right agenda, and this is where the Civic Coalition, Poland 2050, and PSL currently fit into this trend. On the other hand, there are a number of political or social groups that have a more progressive-left agenda, said Małgorzata Tracz.

– Perhaps two blocs would be better here and clear programmatic demands that would define the progressive-left bloc and the more center-right bloc, whose demands would be credible to voters – she added.

According to Tracz a good result from one list does not guarantee a majority in the Sejm. The creation of two electoral blocs is therefore intended to be a guarantee that it will be possible to create a coalition. As the MP emphasized, “there is a lot of room on the progressive-liberal, left-wing side of the political scene.”

She also addressed the question of whether she still intended to run from the KO list or from a more leftist list. – I think that everything will still be in the balance here. For me, the start itself is not as important as the so that after 2027 there will be a ruling coalition that will be able to implement the demands that I care about. So also those related to animal protection, those related to human rights, women's access to legal abortion, and marriage for all – she pointed out. – We simply have to implement this agenda because there is a very large group of people for whom these things are of great, enormous importance – she noted.

According to the MP, there is a “threat” that the coalition of Law and Justice and Confederation will take power. She expressed concern that the solutions adopted by the current government could then be withdrawn.
