Residents of Krasnoyarsk Solnechny will have their backup power supply line restored

At the request of the prosecutor in Krasnoyarsk, a backup power supply line will be restored for residents of the Nanzhul-Solnechny microdistrict. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to the supervisory agency, residents of the microdistrict have had their electricity cut off 28 times over the past two years. Sometimes there was no light in houses for several hours at a time, including in winter.

“The prosecutor’s office conducted an inspection and found out that the electricity supply to the area is provided by two cable lines owned by a private individual. By law, they must duplicate each other, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of electricity. But in fact, one of the lines was damaged and did not function for a long time. The owner was in no hurry to fix the problem, which is why each new accident threatened to leave dozens of houses without electricity,” told the regional prosecutor's office.

As a result, according to By order of the prosecutor, the owner of the networks was brought to administrative responsibility for violating the rules for the technical operation of electrical installations (Article 9.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
