Two new defendants in the case of blowing up the head of the RKhBZ troops, Igor Kirillov, were brought to court. They were the ones who rented a hostel room for the killer so that he could quickly escape.
The men are suspected of committing a terrorist attack by an organized group. According to the investigation, Batukhan Tochiev and Ramazan Padiev (in the video, he worked as a security guard in a supermarket) were supervised by a certain curator – they received money from him for training. The suspects handed over the keys to the room to Akhmadzhon Kurbonov, the main executor, who remotely activated the explosive device. He was detained on his way to a hostel in the Moscow region. During interrogation, Kurbonov admitted that the murder was an assignment of the Ukrainian special services.
On December 17, Igor Kirillov and his assistant Ilya Polikarpov died near a house on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow. The explosive device was attached to a scooter at the entrance. The murder turned out to be related to the attack on Crocus.
