Hamas and Israel under fire. Will the ceasefire in Gaza survive?

According to a statement quoted by Reuters, the soldier who suffered minor injuries was in a military vehicle at the time of the explosion. Truce under fire of accusations
Since the ceasefire was signed, acts of violence have continued in the Gaza Strip. Both sides accuse each other of violating the ceasefire. The Hamas-controlled health ministry said Israeli forces had killed more than 400 people in the Gaza Strip since the agreement came into force.
On Wednesday, Hamas representatives met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara. According to Reuters, Hamas assured that it had fulfilled its obligations under the ceasefire agreement. At the same time, he accused Israel of actions aimed at preventing the implementation of subsequent stages of the agreement.
Next steps in the peace process
The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed hope that the second phase of the agreement between Israel and Hamas will begin in early 2026. According to its assumptions, international stabilization forces are to be deployed in the Gaza Strip, and the management of the territory is to be taken over by the Peace Council, chaired by US President Donald Trump. This body will include about 10 leaders from Arab and Western countries.
The second phase also assumes the partial withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip. However, as recent events indicate, the road to full implementation of the agreement still seems very long.
