Rostelecom employees became Santa Clauses to wish the children of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva a Happy New Year

A good pre-New Year campaign “Become Santa Claus” was held at Rostelecom throughout Russia. Company employees from different cities – Moscow, Krasnodar, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kursk – took part in the holiday initiative, donating toys and sweets to children undergoing treatment or rehabilitation in social institutions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva.

“Becoming Santa Clauses and presenting gifts is a traditional and favorite event for signalmen. The promotion takes place annually. In November, a wish list of hundreds of children from orphanages, wards of public organizations, and young hospital patients appears on the corporate portal. This way, each employee can choose and fulfill someone’s modest, but childishly very significant dream,” said Alexey Usatov, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.

This year, within the Krasnoyarsk branch of the company, the regional state health care institution “Children’s anti-tuberculosis sanatorium “Pionerskaya Rechka””, “All-Russian organization of parents of disabled children” in the Republic of Khakassia and the State budgetary educational institution of the Republic of Tyva “Children’s home” took part in the action.

The editors of the online publication “Abakan.ru” also joined the “Become Santa Claus” campaign and organized a matinee for special children and their parents in Abakan.

“The guys from different cities of Khakassia received warm wishes and gifts, selected with all their hearts, from Rostelecom employees. Together we managed to drink tea, talk, listen to the worries and joys of our parents, and agree on the mandatory continuation of friendship and cooperation. We are glad that we became helpers and witnesses of a small New Year’s miracle,” noted Yulia Mizonova, editor-in-chief of the Abakan.ru website.
