Leard Sadriu has plenty to choose from: transfer opportunities from three championships outside of Romania
One of the highlights of Argeș, as well as of the Superliga, was the Kosovar international Leard Sadriu, 24 years old. The stopper arrived in Trivale last summer and had a very good season. He is still called to the actions of his national team and has attracted the attention of groups from abroad.
Leard Sadriu got on well at FC Argeș, and he and the team had a remarkable season
According to GSP.ro information, Sadriu is on the list of three clubs outside the Super League: the new Bulgarian champion, Levski Sofia, who just broke the hegemony of Ludogorets Razgrad, the Chinese team Wuhan Three Towns (Nicușor Stanciu's former club) and the Russians from Baltika Kaliningrad, 6th place in the last season, a big surprise of that league.
It remains to be seen what decision the managers of FC Argeș will make regarding the transfers, there will be a meeting this week to decide how they will proceed in the summer mercato.

Leard Sadriu was afraid of Romania until he reached Pitesti!
In an interview given in the winter to Gazeta Sporturilur reporters, Sadriu told, honestly, that he had doubts about the efficiency of the transfer to FC Argeș.
“I didn't know much about Romania, but I talked to Rrahmani before I signed. He only said nice words to me and that's why I chose to come. I like it a lot. The people are very respectful. I didn't think it would be like this, but I'm pleasantly impressed.
People are respectful in Romania. Respect the work and who you are, not where you come from. This is very important to me. I was part of the national team at that Nations League match when what happened happened.
As a player, when something like that happens to you in a country, and then the opportunity to move there comes up, you think maybe they won't welcome you in the best way. But it wasn't like that. They received me in the best possible way. At the match Romania – Kosovo was the first time I came here. I don't want to talk about what was there.
Then, a few months later, the offer came. I was thinking: “What if they don't receive me well?”. But it wasn't like that at all. People are respectful and we owe our success to them. People always come who love the club”, the footballer reacted to GSP.ro.
What happened in Romania – Kosovo
The match at the National Arena, in the League of Nations, played on November 15, 2024, a match that did not end on the field, but at the committees.
At the score of 0-0 in extra time of the match, the national team of Kosovo withdrew from the field, accusing the behavior of the “tricolor” fans.
The result was decided by UEFA, 3-0 in favor of Romania, contested at TAS later by the Kosovars, but without success.
