The funds are allocated by PA Electrochemical Plant JSC under the Rosatom People and Cities program.
One of the priority areas of the program is a joint project of the Rosatom State Corporation and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, aimed at improving the quality and availability of medical care in cities of the nuclear industry.
The progress of work at the city clinic was assessed by the General Director of the Electrochemical Plant, Sergei Filimonov. This year it was planned to renovate the premises where the therapeutic department offices are located. Sergey Vasilyevich noted that all the work was carried out efficiently and on time by a company from Zheleznogorsk. When inspecting the offices, factory specialists noticed the well-chosen color scheme for painting the walls; now it has become much more comfortable to be in the clinic. By the way, most patients also note this.
The renovation is going on, as they say, “on the job” – the clinic continues to accept patients in full. The management and staff of the clinic had to do a lot of work throughout the year to move doctors’ offices, build new logistics, and inform patients. Now the second floor is ready, and with the saved money it is planned to purchase new furniture.
In 2026, the implementation of a large-scale project of the State Corporation Rosatom and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia to improve the quality and availability of medical care in cities of the nuclear industry will continue. ECP has planned funds to complete the renovation of the city clinic; it remains to update the third floor, staircases and basements. Also next year, to attract young doctors, funds are planned for the purchase of three more apartments.
