The management of European champions Paris Saint-Germain want to sign head coach Luis Enrique to a lifetime contract, claims Spanish daily AS.

The technician took over the management of the Parisian club in the summer of 2023. His current agreement runs until June 30, 2027. If the coach were to accept an indefinite contract, it would be a first in the history of world football.

Luis Enrique has been PSG's manager since 2023. Following his performances this year, he was named FIFA's 'The Best' coach of the year.

After Luis Enrique played as a footballer for Gijon, Real Madrid and Barcelona, ​​the technician was given a coaching role with the Catalans' junior teams. His first experience as a senior coach was at AS Roma, where he stayed for one season. He followed one season at Celta Vigo in La Liga, before arriving at Barcelona, ​​where he played for 8 years. There he had outstanding performances, winning a Champions League, two league titles, a European Super Cup and a Spanish Super Cup. Two spells as Spain coach followed, later joining PSG in 2023.
