“This is due to investments in networks of vending machines, logistics centers and technologies that, in addition to making a positive contribution to the economy, also maintain market stability during the largest shopping peaks, improve the flow of goods and open new markets for entrepreneurs who have so far operated locally, to a limited extent,” the report noted.
Broken down by individual company in 2024, the total contribution to the economy in the case of:

- GLS Logistics Systems Poland – PLN 1.7 billion.
“The Polish courier market is closely related to the development of the e-commerce segment, which is still growing. The dense coverage of the country with parcel machines and the availability of couriers mean that Poland is one large marketplace. This drives the development of both industries – e-commerce needs the courier industry, and greater online sales result in an increase in demand for courier services. The growth potential of e-commerce itself still exists in the form of new forms of purchase, including food, as well as in the case of cross-border trade,” commented Adrian, president of ZDG TOR.
