A serious accident happened on the night of Sunday to Monday, December 21/22, 2025, on a road in Olt county. An 18-year-old man died, a young woman of the same age is in a coma. A car carrying five people crashed into a fence.

The accident happened in the city of Corabia, in Olt county. A call to 112, received shortly before 3:00, reported that a car had entered the fence of a building. The car was driven by an 18-year-old female driver, who herself called 112. According to the first information, the driver allegedly lost control over the direction of travel while trying to avoid an animal on the road, driving the car into a fence.
Rescuers found an incarcerated victim – an 18-year-old, deceased. Another victim, an 18-year-old girl, was in a deep coma, and another girl complained of vision problems following the accident. Two of the victims were transferred by the crews of the Olt County Ambulance Service to the Craiova Clinical Emergency County Hospital, and two to the hospital in Caracal.
